September 24, 2022
The Polish energy sector is a coal-based market.
In 2020, the share of hard coal in the consumption of total energy in Poland amounted to 35.8%, brown coal 8.8%, crude oil 25.7%, natural gas 16.9%, renewable energy carriers 10.3%, and other carriers 2.3%.
However, due to the energy transition, the share of coal should decrease, which will create the conditions for increasing the share of renewable energy.
Consequently, the growth prospects of listed companies in Poland dealing with clean energy are promising.
